Kirsten nannied for my daughter (3 years old) and my friend’s daughter (2 years old) at my house for a year, and she was the best thing that could have happened to our family. We had recently had a few bad experiences with childcare and we were in need desperate need of a someone we could trust. Kirsten was truly everything we were looking for. Before she started, we talked about our own parenting styles and she respected them, and jumped right in as if she had been with us for years. She allowed our kids to express themselves, explore, learn and be spirited little toddlers and she still was able to hold the boundaries that we requested in a safe and supportive way. There wasn’t one single day that Kirsten was late and this was HUGE to us. Her own daughter became fast friends with our girls (she came over every Wednesday afternoon before she started kindergarten) and she was a great influence on them. The only reason we had to say goodbye to Kirsten is because my daughter started preschool this fall. Otherwise, we would have kept her forever. If you’re searching for a reliable, experienced and kindhearted nanny, you must consider Kirsten. We are hoping that her next family will appreciate her as much as we did.
