I'd describe my personality as calm, supportive, and creative. I love working in childcare because kids always make me laugh and I love teaching them and watching them learn and grow as individuals! I started working with kids when I was 16, I worked at a daycare and babysat a little around town. When I was 19 I was a full-time nanny for a 7-month-old baby girl and a 3-year-old boy. The past two years I have nannied for a 3-month-old, a 3-year-old and 1-year-old twins. This past year I was an RBT in Kailua, Hawaii. I worked there full time as a behavioral specialist for a 4-year-old girl with autism and adhd. I learned valuable skills during that experience which help me immensely in childcare. In my free time, I like to write and read at home, take my dog to the mountains for hikes, and play basketball. I am currently looking for part-time temporary work as I am going to EMT school in May.
