About Kirsten

Hi! My name is Kirsten, and I'm a former elementary teacher with 5 years of classroom experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am ESOL and Reading endorsed. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a love for learning. I have experience working with students of different ages, abilities, and learning styles, and I believe tutoring should be both effective and enjoyable. I can provide support in reading, phonics, writing, comprehension, and other elementary-level subjects. I tailor my approach to each student's individual needs and work at their pace while making sure they feel encouraged and successful. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to strengthen foundational skills, or would benefit from additional academic enrichment, I would love the opportunity to help them reach their goals!
