I grew up in an area in Los Angeles that had room for a large fur family. I grew up with 3-5 dogs at any given time. We had 3 cats at the very least. We took in several cats that ended up being pregnant. We found homes for most of the kitten in each litter. We had horses, goats, fish, snakes, hamsters and an iguana. It really was a zoo. But it taught me responsibilities at a young age and compassion for animals, every size and stage of life.
