About Kira

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. With three years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I hold a certification in Individualized Education Programs (IEP), which allows me to provide tailored support for elementary and middle school students in Math, English, Science, Music, Drama, and Dance. I adapt my teaching by actively observing how you interact with new material, utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue to find what works best for you. I celebrate small successes and break complex problems into manageable steps to keep momentum high. I believe clear communication with families is essential for building trust and tracking progress. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
