About Kira

Caring for children is more than a job; it's my passion. My journey began when I opened my home to five children with trauma and disabilities, and since then, I've gained three years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 11. I have a high school diploma and have some phycology and trauma training I have experienced with children whom have cognitive impairments, trauma, sensory processing, autism, adhd, and speech impairments. I am comfortable caring for up to six children at a time. My approach is patient and calm, with a touch of creativity and imagination. I enjoy playing educational games, using technology-based apps, singing, and doing crafts. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents using their preferred method. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Ultimately, I hope to bring my experience and nurturing spirit to your family.
