Hi! My name is Kira and I have been working with children from ages infants to 5 for about 5 years now. My past experience includes working in day care centers! I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor's in child development and minored in deaf rehabilitation, so I know a good amount of sign language. I currently am in graduate school at governors state university for school social work and plan to get my LCSW later on for my own practice with working with children with behaviors. I also have a 1-year-old daughter who I love spending time with! The reason I love working with kids is to experience their different developmental milestones and create different interactions to match those milestones to help them grow! I believe that children are capable of so much and with the right tools to guide them, they can grow up to achieve anything they want to!
