Hi! I'm Kirah. I have around 8 years of childcare experience. As a teenager, I volunteered in church nurseries working with toddlers and preschool-age children. I also regularly babysat for several families throughout high school and college. In 2017, I nannied for two children ages 5 and 7. In college, I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America as an after-school instructor for elementary students. In 2018, I worked as a preschool center substitute. From 2018 to 2022, I worked as a library circulation clerk. From 2022 to 2024, I nannied for a family with one child while he was 2 1/2 - 4 years old. I currently work part-time at a local library. I have limited availability, but am interested in helping out with occasional childcare or a part-time position that aligns with my work schedule. Kirah is an exceptional childcare provider. She is very patient and kind and handles behavioral issues very well with our toddler. She is always punctual and is accommodating with schedule changes. She is also able to perform arts and crafts activities on her own for our toddler. She is eager to work and is very helpful with meal prepping and at home tasks. We have really enjoyed having her be a part of our toddlers life and in our life. She is extremely positive about her duty as a child care provider. We were sad to see her go when our toddler began preschool full-time. We would recommend her as a 10/10 childcare provider.
