About Kira

I'd describe my personality as patient, resourceful, and musical. I like working with kids because they are brilliant, honest and our future. I'm looking for a job that appreciates the value of education, music and creativity. I've been a teacher for six years, and a babysitter/tutor for eight. I've taught preschool as well as K-8th and have worked with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to create music and learn about art. I love working with neurodivergent children, and have lots of experience and understanding working with those on the autism spectrum as well as ADHD. My skills include adaptability, patience, and resourcefulness, with the ability to turn mundane tasks into fun games.
