About Kira

With 38 years of experience as a pet owner and animal caregiver, animals have always been an important part of my life. My experience includes caring for a wide variety of species, from traditional household pets to other species, and I'm comfortable adapting my care to meet each animal's unique needs. I have experience caring for special needs pets, including animals who require extra patience, medication, mobility assistance, specialized routines, or additional attention and supervision. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I also have hands-on experience with animal rescue, rehabilitation, and fostering, including caring for newborn animals who require around-the-clock attention and specialized care. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, compassion, consistency, and recognizing the individual needs of every animal.
