About Kinshasa

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! I have been teaching elementary grades for over 10 years! I taught in both North Carolina and Nevada and still hold a teaching license in both states. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK through 3) and a Master's in Elementary Education (K-8) from the University of Southern California. I have worked with several tutoring companies over the years such as Sylvan, BrainWorks, and Andson. I decided to begin my own tutoring service when I saw that these companies were not really helping children or meeting the individual needs of a child. I created H. I. L. L. Tutoring when I wanted to make a difference beyond the classroom. H. I. L. L. stands for Helping Individuals Love Learning, and that is what I strive to do each tutoring session. I have done private in-home tutoring for about 6 years. I can travel to you, or to a public library to work with your child.
