Hi! Thank you for considering me for your care needs. You'd have a hard time finding a caregiver more patient, well-read, open, funny, or quick thinking. My services include reliable and personalized respite care, meal preparation, mobility assistance, bathing, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation for errands. I am a fully vaccinated, certified Direct Care Worker, experienced hospice volunteer, hold current CPR training, and speak a bit of Spanish. I am also a writer, retired community-college writing professor, mother of two teenage daughters, pet-lover, and native Tucsonan. My interest in in-home care stems from a guiding belief that our one-on-one interactions provide the meaning in our lives, regardless of where or how we are in that timeline. Furthermore, as a homebody myself, I understand the importance of receiving care at home. To that end, I regard being welcomed into your house, or the house of your loved one, to be a sacred act.
