About Kinsey

I like working with kids because I've been doing it for as long as I was old enough to watch a child alone. I fell in love with learning about their little personalities, likes/dislikes, and how they view the world. They are hilarious even when misbehaving, and understanding them makes it easier to help them be safe and make kind choices. Sometimes this requires calm-down time or stern redirection. I love crafts and watching kids have those 'aha' moments when they learn something new. Their curiosity and questions never bother me; explaining things helps them trust us. My skills include behavioral intervention, de-escalation techniques for tantrums, non-preferred behaviors, running off, feeding refusal, and stimming from ABA work with autistic children. I enjoy crafting and creating interest-based art projects for kids. I play alongside children to help them feel comfortable.
