About Kim

I began my career in social work, gaining valuable experience working in homeless shelters and day treatment centers for children and teenagers. For 15 years, I dedicated myself to being a stay at home mom while staying actively involved in social service work through both professional roles and volunteer opportunities. With a passion for creativity, I also pursued a career as a professional photographer and artist, honing my skills and building a successful art and photography studio in Saugatuck, Michigan. Over the past five years, my work has taken me around the globe, capturing stories through photography in Africa and Central America. Throughout my life, I've always had a natural ability to connect with children. Whether through my social work, parenting, or creative endeavors, I've built meaningful relationships that foster trust and growth. Now, I'm eager to return working with children in a warm and nurturing environment as I transition to a new chapter and a warmer climate.
