Experience: 3 yrs
Making a difference in people's lives is my calling. For the past five years, I've dedicated myself to providing compassionate care to adults and seniors, driven by a deep passion for their well-being and independence. My graduate studies have further equipped me to understand the intricacies of care. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I prioritize understanding each person's unique preferences and history to build strong connections. I provide respite care, transportation, and light housekeeping. I also assist with meal preparation, errands, medical management, and hospice services. I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and incorporating memory care activities. I communicate regularly with families, following their preferred method, such as text or phone calls. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm eager to bring my experience and heartfelt dedication to your family.
Kim and I have been friends for more than 35 years. I have had to call on her twice in the past three months for help. The first time was to pack and clean my mom's house when she was moved to an assisted living facility in Atlanta, the second was to help me pack my own home after it was sold. On both occasions, Kim was a Godsend, arriving on time each morning and working steadily throughout the day alongside me. She was so focused and thorough that we were able to complete both jobs quickly knowing that there was a mountain of work with each! I have never worked with anyone who was as efficient as she was. Both houses were packed neatly, donations boxed and delivered to charities/thrift stores, and everything from ceiling to baseboards was clean. I was under a great deal of pressure to have each house packed and clean in a very short time, and Kim made all the difference in my being able to do just that.
