Hello, my name is Kim & I'm a wife & mom of 3. I worked in the medical field for 10 year before becoming a stay at home mom. When my youngest entered Kindergarten, I decided to go back to work p/t. I started a job with Food Services, which allowed me flexibility since I had the same schedule as the kids. After working for almost 8 yrs at the school, I got a call from my Aunt that her mother in law needed a caregiver. As you can imagine, being 102 & set in her ways, accompanied by OCD and dementia, she was a tough cookie. Her last year of life she was bed bound, so I would now change her diaper several times a day, bathe & feed her. She ended up being on Hospice care at home for the last 2 weeks or so. Since I had experience taking care of 2 other family members while on hospice, the family felt at ease with me being there for her. After she passed, I started working at the schools again.
