About Kim

Experienced childcare professional with 13 years of teaching experience and a bachelors in education. I'd describe my personality as energetic, organized and a problem solver. I like working with kids because everyday is different, it's rewarding to see them learn and I love being creative! I'm looking for a childcare role where I can support kids' growth in a safe and fun environment. I started working with kids when I was in high school and I was a counsellor at the YMCA summer camps. I knew then that I wanted to be a teacher. I went to college and got my degree in elementary education. I taught for eight years and then took time off to have my children. I have three boys and I went back to teaching five years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my boys, walk my dog and read. One thing you should know about me is I love to work with children and love learning new tricks and skills to engage and teach. My skills include patience, communication and creativity.
