About KIM

I am a retired RN and was an EMT for 4 years while I was in college. I have dealt with numerous emergencies as a first responder as well as many illnesses and injuries as a nurse. I have worked as a school nurse when I lived in New York. I have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. My experience includes working with developmentally disabled children and adults, psychiatric patients and providing home care and assessments of children and adults. I have also worked as a live-in nanny and a newborn nanny. . I'm comfortable caring for one child or 4 at a time and happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I have also had pets my entire life and have shown and bred dogs as well as fostered for 2 rescue groups. I currently live with 4 dogs ranging from a toy poodle up to an English mastiff and I have a horse. I am comfortable providing care for pets as well as children. I am also available for "date nights" and occasional overnights.
