About Kimmie
Hi and welcome. My name is Kimmie and a brief history about me. I am a mother to a wonderful 11-year-old child who I love dearly. I graduated from CSU Long Beach with a BA. Currently, I am in the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program at a local community college. I have found OT is one of the most holistic healthcare professions, and I am glad to have chosen it as my career path because the principles of OT are in line of how I live my life. It addresses the vital importance of people's psychological and emotional well-being, as well as their physical needs. It is a profession that requires understanding, patience, compassion, and empathy; all the characteristics that I value tremendously. I believe these characteristics also apply in providing care for the young, adult, and senior in any environment.
