About Makenna

Hi! I'm a Molecular Biosciences student at Bellevue College passionate about education and hands-on learning. My biology background and experience teaching sewing and creative technologies help me adapt lessons to different learners. I work paet-time in at the B. College Makerspace teaching sewing, 3D printing, laser cutting, and more. I also founded the Sewing and Textile Arts Club, developing beginner-friendly workshops and curriculum. I offer sewing lessons (beginner-intermediate: machine basics, garments, alterations, patterns) and biology tutoring at all levels, focusing on educational, engaging activities. As a student, I understand coursework challenges and aim for a patient, supportive environment. I primarily use public transit with backup options when needed.
