About Kim

I have been teaching and tutoring across all levels for more than 35 years. I have a clear CORI and SORI and pass fingerprint checks for the Dept of Early education and care. I am experienced both with in person and online tutoring and use students' interests and strengths to motivate and support learning. I am experienced with diverse learning styles and needs, as well as ADHD, ASD, emotional disturbance, medical conditions that impact learning, as well as with learners from many diverse cultures and backgrounds. I also hold certifications in Trauma-informed services to children and youth, and can tutor all subjects in all grades prek-8, but do not tutor above or algebra in math or science that requires significant high school level math.
