About Kim

Hello, my name is Kim. I have a background in science and 10+ years as a STEM educator. I have created curriculum for National Science Foundation (NSF) funded projects like Design Squad on PBS and for Washington State public schools through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). I have led professional development for other teachers at conferences like the National Science Teachers Association and through large unified school districts. As a teacher, I am fun, warm, and seek to ignite a student's internal motivation to learn. I have worked at top private and international schools, focused on academically-advanced and neurodivergent learners. I have tutored students and help them raise their SAT scores. I am also a trained writer and tutor literature and language subjects. I am bilingual in Spanish and English.
