About Kim

Hi, I'm Kim, a bilingual educator, marine biologist, and director of Element School, a top-ranked STEAM childcare program on Wonderschool. For nearly two decades, I've created hands-on science and art experiences for kids, including content for PBS's Design Squad Latinx and programs for the Seattle Aquarium. We just moved from Berkeley to Kirkland, and while we transition to a Washington license, I'm offering 4-hour adventures: nature walks or museum visits, science or art projects, stories, a homemade snack, and mindfulness. I care for children one-on-one or in small groups, often with my partner Ching, our curriculum designer and resident chef. Our joyful3-year-old often joins too, giving your child a built-in playmate. We're checked and approved by CA and WA licensing. I have pwrsonal and professional experience eth neurodivergent learners in academic settings.
