About Kim

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a graduate degree and three years of experience, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, and essential study skills. I spent 5 years homeschooling both my sons through FLVS. My oldest recently graduated from Wellington HS and is going to Palm Beach State. I create an engaging, patient environment by breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting lessons to your child's personal interests. By actively observing how a student interacts with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice--to suit their unique style. Watching a student's confidence grow as they master a difficult topic is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to building a supportive rapport with you and helping your student thrive.
