About Kim

As a certified teacher with 15 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist, I am passionate about helping elementary students unlock their full potential. I create engaging and supportive learning environments where confidence can grow, anxiety is reduced and students enjoy learning. My approach involves observing and listening to students, adapting my teaching as we work together to increase success. I love using hands-on activitie and game based learning. I have a master's degree and am experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I love solving problems that limit a student's learning. I provide regular updates to keep everyone informed and involved. I can tutor online or at the library in Math, English, Special Education, and Study Skills. I prefer working with kindergarten through 4th grade students for academics and any student that wants to learn better study skills.
