About Kimberly

My name is Kimberly I'm currently located in Columbia, SC. I am an energetic educator who recently came back from serving in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua Central America for two years teaching English to high schoolers and training 25+ teachers. I've also worked with U. S Embassy sponsored leadership camps and have tons of fun with students ages 5-18 through hands on learning techniques, while mentoring young people from 19-24. I am bilingual and acquired the Spanish Language while studying abroad in Ecuador as well as teaching overseas in Nicaragua. I have been back in the states for about two weeks now and will be beginning a position with an after-school youth program as the Education Director but in the meantime would love to help support local families with date nights/weekends and tutoring Spanish.
