Decades of meditation and the practice of improv comedy have taught me patience, presence, and how to find humor in the face of difficulty. I'm not easily rattled and am comfortable meeting people wherever they are on a given day. As a writer, I've spent considerable time with the subjects of aging, dementia, mortality, and what it means to live a meaningful life. It's given me a genuine appreciation for this stage of life and for the stories, perspectives, and wisdom that come with it. I genuinely enjoy connecting with all kinds of people and have a special place in my heart for those who have grouchy or stubborn sides. I'm warm, curious, dependable, and would love to be a caring and consistent presence in someone's life. Present, patient, and playful.
