Becoming a caregiver felt like a natural extension of my life's path. My experiences in adult and senior care roles, supporting families, and providing reliable care have been incredibly rewarding. As a mom to a special needs daughter, I understand the importance of advocacy, dignity, and compassionate care. For the past two years, I've been dedicated to providing respite care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medical management. I have a college degree and I'm skilled in de-escalating stressful situations, managing confusion, and incorporating memory care activities. I prioritize understanding each care recipient's preferences and personal history. I'm patient, empathetic, and always respectful. I communicate with families through written daily reports and verbal updates, following their preferred method. Ultimately, my goal is to provide the kind of care I would want for my own family, with kindness, empathy and understanding.
