I have 35 years experience in a hospital and home health setting. My ideal client requires a higher level of care than "sitting" and errands. I enjoy helping people maintain or improve their level of functioning and assisting them in staying as healthy as possible. I am comfortable with all equipment except home ventilator, and I have experience with surgical, stroke, dementia and hospice clients. I only work part-time, so no full time care. I cannot do a lot of heavy lifting and I do not do house cleaning, but will clean up the bathroom, kitchen, etc after I provide care. I am willing to transport my clients to appointments and social activities. I enjoy working with the elderly because they have such interesting stories to tell and we all deserve to be respected and loved at all stages of life!
