Making a positive impact on people's lives is what drives me. My previous experiences in adult and senior care roles for over 18 years has showed me the importance of supporting families and providing reliable care. I am patient, calm, compassionate, and friendly. I earn trust, and I provide regular updates via text or phone call, as well as written daily reports. I can de-escalate stressful situations, handle confusion or agitation, and incorporate memory care activities. I have a college associate degree, have taken many extra Memory care certifications and am comfortable with pets. I'm not new to the field, I am eager to help learn your routines and help people stay in their homes for as long as possible. I look forward to bringing comfort and peace of mind to your family while talking care of your loved ones needs. In addition to caregiving I'm skilled in end of life and respite care. I have death doula certification as well to help
Kimberly has been an exceptional caregiver for our family. She has cared for my mother, who has severe dementia, for seven months, and she has also supported my father, who lives independently in a senior community. For my mother, Kimberly provides daily assistance with routines such as medications, dressing, toileting, grooming, light meal prep, dishes, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation. She drives her daily to visit my father and takes her on shopping and restaurant outings. Because my mother has limited speech, Kimberly’s ability to anticipate needs is critical, and she does this exceptionally well. She is calm, intuitive, and always preserves my mother’s dignity. Kimberly also supports my father by doing his laundry, providing companionship, and taking him on grocery and shopping trips. Even though he is in independent living, Kimberly naturally provides assisted-living–level support, anticipating his needs without any direction from me. What truly sets Kimberly apart is her experience and judgment. She handles complex and unexpected situations with confidence. When my mother had a serious fall, Kimberly immediately took charge, helped assess the situation, guided us through going to the hospital, and advocated for my mother’s comfort and care with hospital staff. Her presence made a stressful situation manageable. Kimberly is professional, dependable, compassionate, and highly skilled. She respects boundaries, communicates well, and brings a level of care that goes far beyond basic PCA duties. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family seeking exceptional caregiving support.
