Hi there! I am a first grade teacher and a caregiver. I help take care of fur babies of all kinds and children of all ages. I can't imagine doing anything else! I have clients with pets ranging from dogs/cats to pigs and ducks. I have met some really special people and some pretty cool pets working as a pet/child caregiver. I am willing to have small animals in my home, stay at your home, make drop-in visits or walk your baby. I am available during the school year on a part-time basis (nights and weekends) and full-time during school holidays and summer break. The sky is the limit! Kimberly left a glass inside the automatic feeder we use for our cats. The glass caused the feeder to malfunction and damaged the motor wheel. We also found a bag of silica mixed in with the food inside the feeder. We had to buy a new feeder. Two days before the scheduled end of the stay, we decided to end the arrangement early following a concerning interaction related to a 26-minute power outage that was outside of our control. Because the interaction made us uncomfortable, we asked a relative to be present when she returned to collect her belongings. When we returned from our trip around midnight, we did not immediately realize that the automatic feeder was malfunctioning. The following day, we noticed that it had not dispensed food. When we opened the feeder, we found the glass inside, the motor wheel broken, and the silica packet mixed in with the food. I contacted Kimberly afterward to express my concern about what we found. This experience was particularly upsetting because entrusting someone with the care of our pets requires a significant level of trust.
