I looked after an elderly lady for a little over 3 years until her son was able to move back to Oklahoma to care for her. It wasn't a job. I did it because she was very dear to me. I did light housekeeping, helped her with her bathing and dressing. She had a lot of health issues and couldn't move around well, so I helped her from room to room and helped manage her meds. I ran errands for her and helped her with her mail and bills and whatever else she needed. In addition to that, I used to teach and work in direct care for special ed students. Some of my students were so severely limited that they had to have help eating and going to the restroom. I've also required to be CPR and First Aid certified many times. I enjoy taking care of others. It gives me purpose. I've worked in offices and such, and I've enjoyed it, but never as much as I enjoy taking care of others.

Because I work so much, I need someone to frequently house and pet sit. Kimberly takes care of everything while I'm gone. She keeps the house running smoothly and all the pets happy and healthy. I never have to worry about anything.
