About Kimberly

I am a certified teacher, grades 7-12, specializing in English. I have been a stay at home mom for many years, always assisting my own children with their schoolwork. One of my favorite memories from my kid's younger years is when I set up a learning room in my home filled with workbooks, story books, art supplies, and fun educational posters. My children are grown now, with the oldest in college and my younger son in high school. I'm very familiar with the current curriculum for all school-age students, having helped my own kids over the past years. My strongest subjects are English and Social Studies, as these two subjects are commonly linked together, but I consider myself capable of tutoring younger children through 8th grade in all subjects. I would love the opportunity to work families to develop strategies to help their children be confident, successful, and enjoy learning.
