For over 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential through personalized tutoring. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a love for learning by creating an engaging and supportive environment. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to cater to individual learning styles. I also connect challenging topics to real-world examples, breaking down complex problems to build momentum. Open communication with students and parents is essential to understanding needs and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I can help with Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, Special Education, Study Skills, and History at all levels. I tutor at student's homes, online, and at libraries.
