Over the past 20+ years I have cared for my mother, along with many others. With their care, I have handled alzheimers, dementia, neuropathy, seizures, and cerebral palsy, just to name a few. I've been employed by the State to take care of my own mother. She had a stroke 19 years ago and now lives with me. I care for her. Over the years I have helped them all with going to their Dr appointments, running errands, giving medications, light house keeping, companionship, dressing/undressing, laundry, sponge bathing, helping with their pets (walking the dog, feeding, grooming, changing the bed linens, making the bed, go out for walks or go to the park or favorite spot just to get some fresh air and relax. I have also helped with opening/reading their mail, helping paying bills. I also read to them if they have sight problems (my mother is legally blind, so I read to her).
