I have 5 years of experience providing care to seniors and adults in both direct support and behavioral health settings. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), I assisted with personal care including bathing, medication support, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, companionship, and daily living activities while always encouraging independence and maintaining dignity whenever possible. For the past 3 years, I have worked as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), supporting adults and seniors with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. My experience includes appointment assistance, food preparation, facilitating groups, supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), and helping individuals build routines and maintain independence. I approach caregiving with patience, compassion, and respect, and I value creating supportive relationships that help individuals feel safe, empowered, and cared for.
