I am currently attending Fordham University to obtain my Master's in School Psychology with a specialization in early intervention and assessment. I also have worked as a paraprofessional with children who have ADHD and/or ASD. My passion for working with children who have disabilities came from the research I conducted in undergraduate school at the University for Delaware on children with Down Syndrome. The purpose of the study was to create adaptive apparel (specifically jeans) to better cultivate the child's independence in activities, like dressing, while also relieving possible caregiver stress as well.
