In the month of May 2025, one of my precious kitties developed a health condition that could easily have taken him across the rainbow bridge. I asked my vet if she knew a vet tech who would be willing to help me administer subcutaneous fluids in my home. I wasn't very optimistic I'd find someone, but before leaving the vet's office a young woman by the name of Kierra immediately volunteered. Along with administering sub-q fluids for several days, Kierra shared tips and tricks to help make caregiving less stressful for both Eli and myself. Her calm demeanor and patient handling of Eli put both of us at ease. She has a great personality, gentle spirit and a natural aptitude for the care of animals. Kierra has certainly found her calling in life. Any veterinary practice or organization would benefit from her innate abilities.
