Almost 15 years ago, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio to earn my Bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University, where I studied anthropology, evolutionary biology, and psychology, with the intention of doing wildlife conservation work. I fell in love with my first animal shelter job and changed my whole career path.
