About Kiera

Hello, my name is Kiera. I am a second-year Lone Star Student, and I'm currently majoring in Political Science. A little about me I'm Chamorro and Filipino, and very family-oriented. I'm also very sporty, playing basketball, baseball, and lacrosse throughout my childhood. When I'm not at school, I'm also a part-time caregiver to my uncle who has cerebral palsy . While this was never an ideal situation, I would trade it for anything as it helped me gain a strong passion for advocacy, a deep commitment to helping others, and a natural ability to adapt and communicate effectively. I have also worked part-time at the YMCA in the afterschool program working with kids from kindergarten to fifth grade. These experiences have deepened my understanding of social responsibility and strengthened my ability to remain compassionate, composed, and adaptable in complex situations. My dedication to creating positive change and uplifting others truly drives my desire to contribute meaningfully.
