About Kiarra

Hi! I'm an experienced nanny with 9 years of experience. I also work part-time as a therapist while completing my dissertation. My clinical work has given me a strong background in child development, emotional regulation, communication, behavior, and supporting children through challenges with patience and consistency. I've been nannying professionally while working on my PhD. Caring for children has been a consistent part of my life alongside my academic and professional work, and it's something I genuinely enjoy. My work as a therapist has also deepened my appreciation for how important it is for children to feel understood, supported, and encouraged! My skills include: I'm very comfortable helping children navigate big feelings, transitions, and challenging moments with patience and empathy.
