About Kiara

Hi! I am a recent graduate with a bachelor of science in human services. Due to my love and passion for working with people, I continue to serve my community as a social worker. I am the oldest sibling in my family, and so I started babysitting at age 12. I have a lot of personal and professional experiences working with children of all ages ranging from newborns to teenagers. I have worked with families in and around my neighborhood from newborn and up. I also have experience caring and supporting individuals with special needs. Currently, I teach children in my church. One of my favorite activities to do with children is to play games, especially ones that foster their imagination and creativity. Every child is unique and has their personality, so my warm, caring and patient demeanor encourages children to feel a sense of trust and allows them to feel confident when talking to me. I am excited and truly looking forward to working with the children I will meet.
