About Kiara

Hello! I am a nursing student with the intent to go into either labor & delivery or pediatrics! I am also minoring in Spanish. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have cared for ages 5-11 professionally. Additionally, I am an older sister to a 7-year-old who has special needs. This being said, I have had caring experience with every life stage from newborn and on. I also have experience with NG and G tubes, as well as children with ASD. To relieve some worries off of parents, I am also Basic Life Support certified through the AHA :). Throughout my last two years of high school, I took child and family development classes and was given the opportunity to work alongside teachers at the local preschool. There, I created lesson plans and helped to teach preschool aged children various subjects. Additionally, I have taken a college Lifespan Human Development course, so I am knowledgeable about the different developmental stages of children!
