About Kiara

Hi! My name is Kiara, and I have several years of experience supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities in both professional and personal settings. I have 4 years of experience working in day programs serving blind and low-vision seniors. I've helped facilitate day habilitation activities, and coordinate transportation services such as Access-A-Ride and paratransit trips. My journey caring for seniors began in high school when I volunteered at a nursing home. I also have experience with tasks like blood sugar monitoring & administering insulin. Caregiving has always been a meaningful part of my life, as my mother has been living with disability for many years. I'm familiar with helping with errands, meal prep, chores, organization, and other living tasks. I'm compassionate, patient, dependable, and enjoy helping others feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. I have good memory, communicate well, and am comfortable using public transportation throughout the area reliably
