About Kiana

I'm a Social Work graduate and a Registered Behavior Technician. I help children and teens with Autism navigate daily challenges and support families in fostering independence through Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy. As a former Child Protective Services worker, I bring a deep commitment to child safety, trauma-informed practice, and responsible decision-making. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, teachers, law enforcement, and therapists to support each child's development and wellbeing. I've supported children with aggression and emotional dysregulation, aiding sensory regulation and milestone achievement. With 5+ years in child safety and care, I've handled Department of Family Services investigations, safety planning, and psychotherapy/group activities in outpatient behavioral clinics. Earlier roles include: SAFEKEY Elementary; Child Swim instructor; Court group therapy for adolescents and families facing trauma.
