About Kiana

With 12 years of professional childcare experience, I've turned my passion for working with children into a meaningful career. I bring heart & expertise to every family I work with. I studied primary education in college & have worked with children in a variety of settings, from teaching sailing & dance to three years teaching at an elementary school & an outdoor homeschool program where students earn credits learning in nature. One of my most meaningful roles was caring for a baby from 4 months old to 5 years old. I witnessed her first words & steps and still consider her & her family dear to me. I've nannied for many families, including a year with two toddlers under two, & have completed countless babysitting jobs. I want every child I care for to feel seen, respected, safe, & valued. I communicate clearly with parents, follow household routines, & am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm pet friendly, have reliable transportation, & am happy to help with light cooking & cleaning.
