About Khalia

Hi! I'm Khalia, but you can call me Lia! Nurturing young minds is my passion, as I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at USF with all A's since 2024, and will be graduating in December 2026. I have an unpaid internship at a local elementary school Monday-Friday, but I'd love to commit my weekends to providing high-quality care to your kiddos. I've worked at an emergency room at the registration desk for 3 years, so I'm very big on safety. I love cooking balanced meals, cleaning, and diving into super fun and educational imaginative crafts. I'm really into activities that get kids moving, thinking, or both! I am comfortable enforcing household rules and I'll always adapt to your preferred communication method to keep you updated on your child's day. I am eager to bring my knowledge in Early Childhood Education into your home to help your children learn and grow.
