About Khadijah

My name is Khadija, but I prefer to be called Dija because it is easier for young children to pronounce. I am a Montessori teacher with over nine years of experience working with children from infancy through age six and older. I am also a proud mother of two-a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old. In addition to my teaching experience, I have babysat many children of different ages, which has further strengthened my ability to understand and meet the unique needs of each child. I hold my ECE units, a Montessori diploma, a CPR certificate, and Child Mandated Reporter training. I truly love working with children and am known for being kind and patient with them. I enjoy doing art and science experiments with kids, cooking together, and exploring different cultures from around the world. I also love organizing seasonal programs such as Halloween, Christmas, and spring celebrations that include songs and dances, making learning fun and meaningful for children.
