I started working with kids around the age of 16. I was the choreographer for the kids team at my church. There is where I realized that I enjoyed working with kids and began working part time jobs as a babysitter. Now I have over 6 years of experience working as an in house nanny, child sitter, student programs instructor, aftercare coordinator, and various teaching positions. I have created peer mediation programs in my previous position to help students develop interpersonal and communication skills. I also work as a dance artist which has given me a creative perspective and approach to supporting children.

Keyierra started when our daughter was just 4 months old. She eased right in by carrying out a consistent feeding/nap routine and filling wake windows with playtime and month-appropriate activities. With our daughter now approaching two, Keyierra excels at coming up with new activities to further her development (art projects, music time, reading books, learning time). In addition, she's helped with transitioning our daughter to solid foods, gentle sleep training, bath times, and light meal preparation. She cares with patience and empathy and is very in tune with our daughter's developmental and behavioral needs. It is apparent she cares about and loves our little one so much - and most of all we love our daughter and Keyierra's special bond!! We love how communicative she is, writing notes to keep us updated on what they do daily, asking good questions, and collaborating with us. We feel lucky to have her as part of our village and will miss her immensely.
