About Kevin

Hello! I have been a teacher in Harlem for the past 10 years, with eight years of experience teaching fourth grade and the last two years teaching sixth grade. I specialize in English and also tutor History. I am known for building strong relationships with my students by creating a supportive, engaging learning environment while holding them to high academic standards. I believe students learn best when they feel heard, encouraged, and challenged. My approach combines patience, clear expectations, and positive reinforcement to help students build confidence and make meaningful progress. I work from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and am available for tutoring after that time, as well as on weekends. I am happy to support homework, test preparation, skill building, and enrichment.
